The project "Digital Warp Knitting Machine Series Complete Equipment and Digital Warp Knitting Workshop" passed the appraisal of scientific and technological achievements

On July 20, 2020, entrusted by the China Textile Industry Federation, the China Textile Machinery Association hosted a scientific and technological achievement appraisal meeting on "Digital Warp Knitting Machine Series Complete Equipment and Digital Warp Knitting Workshop" jointly completed by Donghua University, Fujian Yili Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., and Fujian Huafeng New Material Co., Ltd. through the "remote+on-site" method.
Gu Ping, President of China Textile Machinery Association, Xie Xuhong, Deputy Director of Scientific Research Department of Donghua University, and Li Tianyuan, Vice President of Huafeng Huajin Group Co., Ltd. attended the meeting. The appraisal committee invited 9 experts, including Academician Sun Jinliang of Shanghai University and Professor Wang Zhi of China Knitting Industry Association, to form an appraisal committee.
The appraisal committee heard work reports, technical reports, testing reports, novelty reports, and user reports, reviewed the appraisal materials, and the testing team conducted on-site testing and investigation, observing and observing samples of warp knitted fabrics. After inquiry and discussion, the appraisal opinions are formed as follows:

The following innovative achievements have been achieved in this project: (1) A method for dynamic analysis and optimization of the traverse system and looping system of the double needle bed warp knitting machine has been proposed, laying a theoretical foundation for 3D complex pattern warp knitting and high-speed and stable operation of the warp knitting machine; (2) Developed the key mechanisms and implementation methods of digital warp knitting machines under special process requirements to meet the needs of high-end applications of warp knitted fabrics; (3) A highly integrated embedded intelligent control mode is proposed to improve the real-time performance and reliability of the system; (4) Propose an information model for digital warp knitting machines, and build a digital workshop for real-time data collection, information sharing, and intelligent decision-making.
Integrating and innovating the mechanical system and digital control system of digital warp knitting machines, we have successfully developed 15 models of digital warp knitting machines, achieving industrialization. We have built 5 digital warp knitting workshops in Fujian Huafeng New Material Co., Ltd., significantly improving production efficiency and reducing comprehensive operating costs.
4. The enterprise standards of "Raschel RDPJ4/2 Warp Knitting Machine", "Raschel RD7 Warp Knitting Machine", and "Product Quality Online Inspection Robot System" have been formulated. After inspection by the National Textile Machinery Quality Supervision and Inspection Center, the project products meet the requirements specified in the standards. 5. The project achievements have independent intellectual property rights, and 13 invention patents have been applied, of which 5 have been authorized.
The overall technology of the project has reached the international advanced level, and has achieved good economic and social benefits, with a broad market prospect. The appraisal committee unanimously agreed that the project passed the appraisal. It is recommended to accelerate the promotion and application in the industry.
