"Key Technologies and Industrialization of Intelligent Production in Digital Knitting Workshop" Passed the Appraisal of Scientific and Technological Achievements

Appraisal Meeting on Key Intelligent Production Technologies and Industrialization Scientific and Technological Achievements in Digital Knitting Workshop. Wang Shutian, Honorary President of China Textile Machinery Association, attended the meeting. The appraisal committee invited seven experts, including Academician Tan Jianrong of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Professor Wu Di of the China Textile Industry Federation, to form an appraisal committee.
The project "Key Technologies and Industrialization of Intelligent Production in Digital Knitting Workshops" proposes an in situ control method that integrates the drive and execution of knitting machines, allocating the control functions of various functional components to the in situ CPU, improving the real-time control performance of the system; Developed an intelligent control networking management system platform for digital knitting workshops that integrates intelligent control of knitting machinery, standardized networking communication, and information management, achieving rapid response for various types of digital knitting workshops; A knitting machinery equipment information model based on the industrial Internet of Things communication specification OPCUA has been established, and a shape-based information model loader and compiler have been developed to achieve the reading and writing of knitting machinery from physical models to information models, breaking through the real-time exchange of production data; A series of standards for "Knitting Machinery Networking Communication Specifications" have been formulated to meet the networking requirements of three categories of knitting equipment, namely, flat knitting machines, circular weft knitting machines, and warp knitting machines. They comply with the networking communication protocol and OPCUA specifications for knitting machinery, and can be widely used in the knitting machinery industry.
The appraisal committee conducted on-site testing in Hangzhou, where it heard work reports, technical reports, user reports, novelty search reports, and reviewed the materials. After inquiry and discussion, the appraisal committee believes that the project "Key Technologies for Intelligent Production in Digital Knitting Workshops and Their Industrialization" is technically difficult, innovative, and the overall technology has reached the international advanced level. It agrees to pass the appraisal, and recommends further strengthening the promotion efforts.
