The 2021 annual meeting of the Textile Instrument Branch of the China Textile Machinery Association, originally scheduled to be held in Wenzhou on December 16, 2021, was changed to be held online due to the epidemic. The meeting held in-depth exchanges and discussions around the key work of the 2021 Textile Machinery Branch, the new technology of textile instruments at the 2020 China International Textile Machinery Exhibition and ITMA Asia Exhibition, and the preparation of future textile instrument science textbooks.
In his speech, Gu Ping introduced the situation of the first three quarters of this year's textile and textile machinery industry. This year is the first year of China's "14th Five Year Plan" and also the year of global economic recovery under the influence of the COVID-19 epidemic in 2020. China's epidemic control is good, production continues, and economic indicators have rebounded significantly. Due to the impact of the epidemic at the beginning of last year, the economic indicators of the textile industry have increased significantly this year, with operating revenue increasing by 15.6% year-on-year in the first three quarters and an average growth of 0.8% in the two years. However, the growth rate began to slow in the second half of the year, and the textile industry entered the fourth quarter. Affected by factors such as significant increases in raw material prices, electricity and production restrictions in some regions, and high international freight prices, the economic growth rate of the textile industry in the next stage will also return to the slow growth trend before the outbreak of the epidemic.
After the development of the "13th Five Year Plan" in the textile machinery industry, textile machinery enterprises have collaborated in manufacturing, and the automation and digitization level of product software and hardware has been rapidly improved, from intelligent single machines to intelligent workshops (factories) with complete sets of lines Both supply and demand provide a strong guarantee for solving the pain points and high-quality development of the textile industry. From January to September, we achieved a year-on-year growth of 39% in operating revenue and a year-on-year growth of 37% in total profit, both of which achieved positive double-digit growth. From January to September, the cumulative total import and export of textile machinery increased by 14.25% year-on-year. Textile machinery exports reached 3.508 billion US dollars, up 5.25% year-on-year. The export of textile machinery has been larger than the import since 2015. In 2021, the textile machinery industry is generally in the process of continuous recovery, with major economic indicators expected to gradually return to pre epidemic levels, and foreign trade expected to hit a new historical high.
Speaking of his thoughts on next year, Gu Ping said that the recently held Central Economic Work Conference indicated that next year's economic environment would see demand shrink, supply shocks, and expectations weaken. The changes in the situation caused by the epidemic will create more uncertainty. Speaking of the development of instruments, instruments are the crown jewel of high-end manufacturing. The National Bureau of Standards of the United States Department of Commerce has issued a report that the total output value of the instrument and meter industry only accounts for 4% of the total industrial output value, but its impact on the national economy reaches 66%. Several aspects of integration should be strengthened: from the laboratory to the factory site; Combination of standards and instruments; Matching and combination with the host machine; The combination of digitization and electronics. It is hoped that during the "14th Five Year Plan" period, textile instrument enterprises, research institutes, and testing stations will collaborate in the industrial chain to promote the upgrading and high-quality development of the textile industry.
As the executive chairman of this year, Chairman Wu Zhaobiao of Wenzhou Darong Textile Instrument Co., Ltd. stated in his speech that he would continue to do a good job in the work of the branch and work with everyone to make greater progress in innovating textile testing technology and innovative textile testing instruments!
Darong Textile Instrument was founded in 1988. The company has specialized in researching, developing, producing, and selling textile testing instruments for 33 years. The company has independently researched, developed, produced, and sold over 300 types of textile testing instruments. Currently, there are over 100 professional and technical personnel, over 100 patented technologies, and more than 70 national and industrial standards have been drafted or participated in. Darong's 33 years have been devoted to textile instruments, textile standards, and textile testing technology. This year, Darong Textile Instrument was awarded the title of "Little Giant" enterprise by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China.
Ding Wensheng introduced the key work of the Textile Instrument Branch in 2021. In 2021, the branch did a lot of work and achieved positive results around the scientific and technological development of textile instruments, the guiding opinions of the "14th Five Year Plan", the project application of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and industry standards.
In summarizing the exhibition work, Ding Wensheng introduced the 2020 and 2022 China International Textile Machinery Exhibition&ITMA Asia Exhibition and the 2023 European International Textile Machinery Exhibition. The 2022 China International Textile Machinery Exhibition and ITMA Asia Exhibition started on September 1st this year. Currently, nearly 400 exhibitors from 17 countries and regions at home and abroad have completed their registration, including well-known domestic and foreign textile instrument enterprises such as Shaanxi Changling, Wenzhou Darong, Nantong Hongda, SDC Enterprise, Q-lab, etc.
Ding Wensheng put forward several suggestions for the future work of the branch. Firstly, we should strengthen the work on the preparation and revision of textile instrument standards. Currently, only 21 textile instrument industry standards have been issued, while there are hundreds of products in textile instruments. There is an urgent need for enterprises in the industry to actively apply for the industry standard work of textile instruments, and further improve the standard system of textile instruments; Secondly, it is necessary to strengthen the application of scientific and technological awards for new products of textile instruments, promote scientific and technological achievements, and further exert the advantages of cooperation between schools, enterprises, and users in production, research, and use, and strengthen the innovation of textile instruments; Finally, attention should be paid to the application of artificial intelligence, image vision technology, and online testing in textile instruments.
Lv Zhihua, Deputy General Manager of Changling, Shaanxi Province, introduced the situation of textile instruments at the 2020 China International Textile Machinery Exhibition and ITMA Asia Exhibition. A total of 29 domestic and foreign textile instrument manufacturers participated in the exhibition, with about 160 physical textile instruments on display. Overall, textile instruments are also advancing with the transformation and upgrading of the textile industry and technological progress. In recent years, some instrument manufacturers have applied new achievements in the development of photoelectric detection technology, image vision technology, and Internet technology to textile instruments, which has greatly improved the functions and performance of textile instruments. The trend of textile instruments moving from laboratory testing and evaluation to online monitoring on production sites is very evident, which virtually puts forward higher requirements for textile instruments and, on the other hand, promotes technological progress in the field of textile instruments.
There are many new products or products with significant improvements in textile equipment at this exhibition, such as raw cotton impurity intelligent tester, fully automatic filament thermal stress tester, automatic fabric inspection machine, sweating and body warming dummy testing system, and other textile equipment and equipment. In addition, some new textile instrument manufacturers have emerged. The COVID-19 since last year has spawned some new medical and protective instruments, and also promoted the technical progress and rapid development of medical and protective and even industrial textile testing instruments. From the perspective of the instruments on display this year, there is a significant increase in testing instruments related to medical treatment, protection, safety, comfort, and other aspects, and the technology is more mature. Instrument manufacturers pay more attention to the intelligence of testing instruments, automation of testing processes, networking of laboratory instruments, and integration of testing results.
Professor Du Zhaoqun of Donghua University introduced the idea of compiling textile instrument science. This textbook is based on "Textile Materials Science", enabling undergraduate students majoring in textile to master the composition, testing principles, signal conversion sensing principles, driving principles, testing methods, and evaluation indicators of textile instruments in a standardized and convenient manner; Familiarize yourself with classic testing instruments for the structure and performance of textile materials, understand the progress of testing technology for textile materials, and track the forefront of domestic and foreign textile instruments and their testing principles and technologies. Prepare for the improvement of textile testing instruments and related professional courses, laying a solid foundation for the correct research and use of testing instruments and methods for textile materials in future work.
Speaking of the idea of developing textile instruments, this textbook focuses on the characteristics and types of textile instruments (fibers, yarns, fabrics, etc.), testing principles and composition mechanisms, sensors, instrument principles, instrument signal acquisition principles, sample holding principles and mechanisms, test curves and indicators, influencing factors of instrument measurement, and measurement standards and methods. It is proposed to include representative fibers, yarns I hope that all instrument manufacturers will support the preparation of textile instrumentation.
The meeting also held a working group meeting on the development of the textile industry standard for the "Fabric Burst Performance Tester". More than 20 experts and members of the working group participated in and participated in the discussion online. At the meeting, all representatives had a serious and detailed discussion on the working group discussion draft of the standard. In line with the progress of the fabric bursting performance tester and the rising technical level, as well as the serious and responsible attitude towards the market and users, everyone has expressed their opinions and made some modifications and suggestions to the working group discussion draft. After the meeting, based on the discussions at the working group meeting, further experiments and tests will be conducted on some indicator parameters, and the working group discussion draft has been revised and improved, resulting in the formation of a standard draft for comment.
